Dobrev aims for CAF Champions League ticket

Technical adviser of FC Ifeanyi Ubah, Mitko Dobrev has urged his players to go all out on Sunday when they face MFM FC in the NPFL match day 38 fixture at Agege, Lagos. Dobrev who was speaking from the team’s camp in Lagos also said that getting a continental ticket for next season will be a perfect gift for the club proprietor and president, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah.

Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) on Thursday announced that it had switched to computer-based ticket sales in line with modern trends in football. FAZ President Andrew Kamanga said the move was also aimed at improving accountability and transparency, adding that the new mode of ticketing would be used for the upcoming 2018 World Cup qualifier against Nigeria next month.

CAF reject Pinnick's nomination for FIFA seat

Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president Amaju Pinnick will not contest for a FIFA council seat later this month after CAF did not endorse his nomination. The elections into the FIFA Council are slated for on September 29 with seven possible candidates have already been announced by CAF - Almamy Kabele Camara (Guinea); Suketu Patel (Sychelles); Kwesi Nyantakyi (Ghana); Ahmad (Madagascar); Augustin Senghor (Senegal); Hamidou Djibrilla (Niger) and Chabur Goc Alei (South Sudan).
