The Executive Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency,
Ezenwo Nyesom Wike has approved the immediate payment of sign on fees of the 2013/2014 owed former Sharks FC and Dolphins players by the previous administration.
The gesture was as a result of the recent brilliant
performances of Rivers United FC in the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football
League (NPFL), especially their recent away win against Warri Wolves in Warri,
Delta State.
