UEFA to allow extra Champions League spots for top leagues

The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) on Friday announced that from 2018 all four major European leagues - La Liga, Bundesliga, Premier League and Serie A - will see four teams enter the group stage without having to go through a qualification round.

Dream Team paid camp allowances



29 members of the U-23 National team have been paid their camp allowance for the first 11 days. The minister of Youth and Sports Barrister Solomon Dalung disclosed this after his parley with the team following their 1-0 victory over Sweden on Monday.

Dream team to wear white jerseys against Colombia


 
Nigeria U-23 team, Dream Team VI, will for the first time in the tournament, don white jerseys in the game against Colombia on Wednesday. The players have already been handed two pairs of white jerseys each, as has been the practice since the commencement of the tournament.
