Ahmed Musa: I grew up as an Arsenal fan
Ahmed Musa
has been smiling at a couple of old photos showing the friends he grew up
playing street football with back in Nigeria, together with a newspaper article
flagging up his potential when he was a child. The third picture handed to him
is much more recent, however, and, rather curiously, shows Leicester City’s
£16m summer signing wearing a Manchester United shirt with “Herrera” on the
back.

LMC announces N40m Prize Money for NPFL Champions
Champions of

N40m from the Merit Award of the League Management Company (LMC). Rangers
International of Enugu and Rivers United of Port Harcourt are the two clubs in
contention for the big prize money from a total of N200m pool set aside by the
LMC as reward for final position on the league table at the end of the season on Sunday.
Iwobi disappointed to miss Olympics with Nigeria

Jos Appeal Court fixes October 11 for hearing of all LMC Appeals
The Court of
Appeal, Jos Division which sat on Monday has directed that there should be no
attempt to tamper with the subject matter of the appeal file by the League
Management Company (LMC) against the orders of Justice I.I. Kunda of the
Plateau State High Court, Jos. This is even as the Inspector General of Police
on Monday increased Police presence at the premises of the LMC to protect the
staff and its activities.

Association of Zambia (FAZ) on Thursday announced that it had switched to computer-based
ticket sales in line with modern trends in football. FAZ
President Andrew Kamanga said the move was also aimed at improving

CAF reject Pinnick's nomination for FIFA seat

council seat later this month after CAF did not endorse his nomination. The
elections into the FIFA Council are slated for on September 29 with seven
