Watford have announced the deal to sign Super Eagles forward Emmanuel Dennis ahead of their return to the Premier League.
The Hornets
have confirmed agreement has been reached with Club Brugges to sign the
forward, although they state personal terms are still being finalised.
The club
announced the deal through its official website, “An agreement with Club Brugge
has been reached for the transfer of exciting young forward Emmanuel Dennis,
Watford FC is delighted to confirm.”
The
23-year-old joined the Belgian side in 2017 and spent part of last season on
loan with FC Koln in the Bundesliga
Dennis has
scored 27 times for Brugges, including double goals in a 2-2 draw at Real
Madrid in the group stages of the Champions League in 2019.
He has made
two international appearances for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Dennis will
play alongside three other Nigerian players, William Troost-Ekong, Tome Dele
Bashiru and Isaac Success that are already playing for the club.
