Italy and Chelsea midfielder Jorginho was named UEFA Champions League 2020-21 Player of the Year, after winning the competition last term.
The Azzurri
star helped Italy pick up the European Championship after his success with
Chelsea and was deservedly named the best player of last season in the UEFA
competitions.
The former
Napoli midfielder moved to Chelsea when Maurizio Sarri joined the Londoners and
has stayed at the club since. He won the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA
Super Cup with the Blues and, in July, he was a key member of the Azzurri side that
beat England on penalties in the EURO 2002 Final at Wembley.
