Gomber United have bolster the squad with the signing of twelve new players ahead the kickoff of the 2021/22 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.
The new
players were presented to the public at the unveiling ceremony in Gombe on
Monday.
The chairman
of the club, Larry Daniel explained that the technical adviser has identified
some positions that need reinforcement and the management is doing everything possible
to achieve that, adding that more players would be recruited to reinforce the squad.
The newly recruited players include Mutawakilu Fuseini from King Faisal FC of Ghana, Chidera Ezeh, a right back from Heartland FC, Al-ameen Al-ameen from ABS FC, former Akwa United attacking midfielder Williams Ukema as well as Innocent Christian from EFCC FC.
Others are Ibrahim
Sani Hassan (Dembele) from Doma United, Abubakar Sadiq Sa'ad from Zaki Mairiga
FC, Bello Ibrahim from Moonluck Academy, Lagos, David Jack from City Bombers, Jos,
Mohammed Shuaibu from Fc Cosmos, Abuja, Abubakar Ahmad from GBS, Jos and Mohammed
Dantata from Wikki Feeder.
The club’s technical
adviser Aliyu Zubairu appreciated the management of the club for the support
and encouragement and called for more in that direction.
