The organizers of the Nigerian Sports Award have announced that the voting phase will close as scheduled by midnight of Sunday, November 12, 2017.

Chisom Egbuchulam wins Footballer of the year award

Rangers International of Enugu forward Chishom Egbuchulam has emerged the 2016 Nigerian Sports Award Footballer of the Year. Egbuchulam, who helped Flying Antelopes to win 2015/2016 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) after 32 years, beat Manchester City forward, Kelechi Iheanacho and Wikki Tourists hit-man Godwin Obaje to the ward.

Organizers of the Nigerian Sports Award have hailed the heroics of the national U-23 team (Dream Team VI) as they progressed to the quarter-finals at the Men’s Olympics Football Tournament Rio 2016 after a 1-0 victory over Sweden in Group B encounter last night at the Amazonia Arena in Manaus.

The organizers of the Nigerian Sports Award, Unmissable Incentives Limited, has announced that all is set for the 5^th edition of the Award as members of the public are now open to nominate Nigerian athletes who have exhibited excellent performance in their various sporting fields. Speaking at a press conference held in Lagos on Tuesday, the Chairman of the Award Panel, Mr. Ikeddy Isiguzo disclosed that nominations for the various categories of the award has opened from 26^th of July, 2016 to the 23^rd of September 2016.
