Aubameyang agrees new three-year Arsenal contract

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has reportedly agreed a new three-year contract with Arsenal which will see him become the club's highest-paid player.

Nigerian Internationals, Chelsea’s John Mikel Obi, Ahmed Musa of Leicester City and Kelechi Iheanacho of Manchester City have missed out of the top five shortlisted for the 2016 African Player of the Year in the Glo-CAF Awards. The trio made the top thirty but narrowly missed out in the final list released on Tuesday by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in Cairo.
