Enyimba release Ifeanyi Onuigbo

Enyimba International Football of Aba club have released striker Ifeanyi Onuigbo from the club. Onuigbo joined the Aba Millionaires midway through the season from Heartland and was a part of Enyimba side that reached the group phase of CAF Champions League.

Onuigbo failed to hit target in all the games he played for the club. The club however thanked the player for his service during his stay.

“Enyimba FC would like to announce the contract expiration of striker Ifeanyi Onuigbo. Onuigbo was a part of Enyimba's CAF Champions League team that reached the group phase of the tournament after making a mid-season switch from Heartland. He also made a handful of appearances in the Nigeria Professional Football League. We thank him for his contributions to the team and we wish him all the best,” Enyimba said in a release made available to Sportinglens.blogspot.com


Despite losing out on the league title this season, Enyimba currently 10th on the log will be seeking redemption when they face Nasarawa United in the Federation Cup semifinal at the Lekan Salami Stadium on 9 October.
