Wikki Tourists will reclaim top spot—Nwabulu

Wikki Tourists FC, first choice goalkeeper, Emeka Nwabulu has said that his side is determined to reclaim the top position in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL). The Bauchi-based side was until last week leading the summit before surrendered the position to Rangers International FC of Enugu.
Nwabulu was speaking ahead of their rescheduled matchday 31 clash against Enyimba in Port-Harcourt on Wednesday.

He admitted that the match will be a tough one owing to the fact that Enyimba have joined the continental ticket contest, stressing that the match is also important to them as he confirmed their readiness to grab the maximum three points.

“Enyimba’s game is very important to us because a win in this match will boost our title aspiration. We have gone so far and we are very close to it now. We had a little setback in the game against Lobi Stars in Bauchi and we want to give everything to this match. I know it will be tough against Enyimba but we will try our best to get three points in the match,” Nwabulu told Sportinglens.blogspot.com.

He added: “It is very difficult to predict the team that will win the title at the moment because of the situation in the table. But I am confident that we will reclaim the top spot and win the league.”
