‘Rangers on revenge mission against 3SC’

Rangers International FC of Enugu have vowed not to drop any point till the end of the league as they are ready to go all out for this weekend’s matchday 35 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) clash against Shooting Stars Sports club (3SC) in Ibadan.
Leading the charge, captain of the side, Okey Odita said he and his colleagues are dedicated and focused for their remaining matches which are very crucial to their ambition. 


According to them, the team worked hard for the two games won and deserved to pick the maximum points at stake as well as increasing their goals tally on the log, noting that 3SC’s match is a must win and a revenge mission.

3SC picked a draw in the first leg encounter at the Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium in Enugu.
 

General Manager of the club, Paul Chibuzor assured that Rangers management will adequately motivate the team before the game against 3SC. 


He expressed optimism that with continued support by the state government, the welfare of the players will be paramount in the quest to attain complete success.


With Sunday 4-0 victory over Rivers United, Rangers are currently topping the league table with 54 points.


Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports that thousands of Rangers supporters within and outside Enugu who trooped out on Sunday for the game against Rivers United were not disappointed by the standard and outcome of the game, as they witnessed a most entertaining and interesting football match. 

The fans have urged the Executive Governors of Enugu State, Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, who watched the game against Rivers United on Sunday, to motivate the players financially now that the trophy is insight in order to sustain the winning streak and continually put the players and officials in the right frame of mind to get more victories in their remaining matches.
