Wednesday’s
rescheduled match between hosts Abia Warriors and FC IfeanyiUbah will go ahead
at the Umuahia Township Stadium after it was cleared to continue to stage
league matches.
At the
weekend, the League Management Company (LMC) sent an inspection team to the
stadium to ascertain the suitability of the arena.
Had it not
been cleared, the match would have been played at an alternative venue.
Abia
Warriors are battling to stay up in the premier league, while IfeanyiUbah are
among the front runners to win this season’s championship.
