Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan head coach, Fatai Amoo says his boys gave their best in
Sunday’s match day 14 of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) against
Abia Warriors.
3SC
were held to a goalless draw by Abia Warriors at the Lekan Salami Stadium,
Adamasingba Ibadan as the draw-at-home spell of the Oluyole Warriors continued
in the NPFL. The Ibadan warlords drew against MFM FC, Remo Stars and
Plateau United in Ibadan.
The
draw against Abia Warriors made it six consecutive draws since their week nine
game against Katsina United.
The
former U-23 assistant coach has assured that his team will soon overcome their
problems and will start getting good results.
Amoo
said: "My boys gave their best. I am not saying we did well with the draw
but they put in a lot of effort and were unlucky not to have won. I can assure
you that my young players will get better and we will start to get the kind of
results we want before the end of the first stanza of the season."
