Four clubs
participating in the LMC/LALIGA U-15 tournament, Kaduna centre, have been
caught for fielding over-aged players ahead of the kick-off slated for Monday,

The
tournament at the Kaduna centre will be starting tomorrow at the Ranchers Bees
Stadium with two matches to be played each day.
The teams
that will take part at the centre include El-Kanemi, GombeUtd, KatsinaUtd, Kano
Pillars and Wikki Tourists.

gathered that the screening committee, which was saddled to fish out over age players,
discovered a foul-play in the list of the players submitted for the competition
by the clubs.
In
delivering the outcome of the screening exercise, the committee disclosed that
all the teams provided 30 players of which only Gombe United have secured 27,
El-Kanemi - 12, Katsina Utd 13, Wikki Tourists - 12 and Kano Pillars - 13.
However, the
committee had given all the teams another chance to provide real U-15 players
till tomorrow 12:00 pm.
