Nigerian
international Uche Agbo has joined La Liga side Rayo Vallecano on loan until
the end of the season from Standard Liege.
Rayo
Vallecano confirmed on its official’s website that Nigerian joined the club on
a six-month deal with with an option to purchase.

statement.
Agbo is one
of the four new players brought into the team, to bolster their squad for the
fight against relegation from La Liga.
Apart from
Agbo, the club also brought in experienced midfielder Mario Suarez on a free
transfer from Chinese Super League side Guizhou Hengfeng.
The former
Atletico Madrid player was the biggest name to arrive in Vallecas on January
31st, but there was also a shrewd move for former Chelsea striker Franco Di
Santo, joining on a free from Bundesliga side Schalke.
Defender
Alejandro Catena also joins on a free, from Reus, following their expulsion
from the Segunda Division.
