Kano Pillars FC Acting Technical Adviser Ibrahim A. Musa has charged his players to be focused and maintain their wining mentality, Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports.
Sai Masu
Gida continued their unbeaten run on Wednesday after thrashing Nasarawa
United FC 1-0 in match day 23 of the Nigeria Professional Football League
(NPFL) at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium Kaduna.
Auwalu Ali
Malam’s 25th goal earned the Pyramid City outfit three points and extended their
unbeaten streak to nine games.
In his post-match
reactions, Musa praised his players for always playing to the instructions and
urged them to sustain the tempo.
He however
expressed worry over their missing scoring chances while pledging to take necessary
measures to correct the mistakes.
Musa said: "It's
very important for us to win this match. Nasarawa United are a good side and they
are doing well in the league.
"In
fact, they are one of the best teams in Nigeria today. After the Katsina United
match, I told my boys never to take the Nasarawa United match for granted
because it's another tough northern derby.
"We
needed the three points and we thank God that our prayer was answered. However,
we will go back and make amendments to some of our mistakes.
"We
will plan ahead of Plateau United during the weekend and we hope to extend our
nine match unbeaten run."
