The match
day 31 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) game between MFM FC
and Katsina United at Agege has been shifted as a heavy downpour left the pitch
waterlogged.
The game
will now be played on Monday by 8am at the same pitch.
The players
of home and away teams had completed their official warm up before the rain
started, and all efforts made by the MFM FC to have the match play proved
abortive as the match officials had no other choice than to reschedule the game
to another day.
The fans who
had anticipated watching the game left the stadium disappointed.
Interestingly,
Chairman of the League Management Company (LMC) Shehu Dikko and former Chairman,
Honourable Nduka Irabor were also at the stadium.
