Mbappe suitors accused of 'illegal' approaches

AS Monaco have reportedly accused several of Europe's top clubs of making illegal approaches for striker Kylian Mbappe. Manchester City are the only English team that the allegations have been levelled at, according to BBC Sport.

The Ligue 1 outfit is allegedly considering approaching FIFA and the French league to request disciplinary action after claiming that "important European clubs" have approached the 18-year-old without permission.

Arsenal are another English club to have been linked with Mbappe, with the Gunners believed to have had a formal bid of £87m rejected last month.

Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be interested in the highly-rated youngster.

Mbappe scored 26 goals in 44 appearances for Monaco last term, helping them win their domestic league and reach the semi-finals of the Champions League.
