Ibrahim Musa wary of Abia Warriors’ threat

By Taofeek Babalola

Kano Pillars technical adviser Ibrahim Musa refuses to underestimate Abia Warriors ahead of matchday2 of the Aiteo Cup competition slated for Agege Stadium on Wednesday, Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports.

Kano Pillars started their group campaign with a 3-2 win over Rivers United while Abia Warriors lost 4-1 to Kwara United on Sunday.

In a chat with Sportinglens.blogspot.com, Musa thinks Sai Masu Gida will have to battle hard to secure victory in the game against Abia warriors.

“I don’t entertain any fear when we play big teams like Enyimba, Rangers International and Lobi Stars but I always have some reservation when we face a team like Abia Warriors. I watched Abia Warriors’ first game against Kwara United and they were not a bad side. They received two red cards and it affected their game. We have to be at our best to beat them and continue our fine form,” Musa said to Sportinglens.blogspot.com.

“We have our tactics that is working for us and we are very focused for the game. The game will be very interesting because every team want to win. We want to win to boost our points while Abia Warriors too will feel the same. They lost their first game and they will want to put everything into this game that is why we have to be very careful and approach the game with all seriousness. We want to win all our games to emerge champions of our group and we are determined to achieve that.”
