Shishima ready to fight for Katsina United first-team place

By Taofeek Babalola

Monday Shishima has declared he is ready to fight for a place in the Katina United first team and will work hard to adapt as quickly as possible, Sportinglens.blogspot.com understands.

Shishima, who joined ‘The Changi Boys’ from Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM)FC of Lagos during the mid-season transfer, believes his hard work in training will help him get more playing time when the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) re-starts.

The top star has played three games and scored twice this season since his arrival at the club. He came on twice as substitute against Sunshine Stars and Enyimba in the NPFL matchday 22 and 23 respectively and started the State FA cup quarter-final against Dambra FC where he got a brace.

Shishima told Sportinglens.blogspot.com after the team’s morning training at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium in Katsina  that: “Katsina United is a team with quality players and it will be hard for new players to come to the team and get automatic shirts, you to fight and fight hard in training to be among the first 11 or 18 here.
"The competition in the attack is very tough but I will fight very hard and I am sure my hard work in training will earn me more playing time.”

Shishima added that he has come to Katsina United to score goals and win trophies

“I have come to this team with the determination to score goals that will help us win trophies,” he declared.
