I'm back to win trophies for Pillars - Ibrahim Musa boasts

By Taofeek Babalola

Kano Pillars Technical Adviser Ibrahim Musa has reiterated his desire to win silverware with Sai Masu Gida in his second coming to the club, Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports.

Sportinglens.blogspot.com had on Friday exclusively reported that Musa has been re-engaged as the new technical adviser by the club's management after due consultation.

Musa received his re-appointment letter last week Tuesday and signed the agreement yesterday.

In a chat with Sportinglens.blogspot.com, Musa thanked the State Government, management and the people of Kano State for bringing him back to the team.

"First of all I want to thank God for what he has done in my life. I want to appreciate the State Government, Sports Commission, State FA, people of Kano State and club's management under the leadership of Tukur Babangida for bringing me back to the club. In Sha Allah, I will do everything within my capacity to take Kano Pillars to the greater height," Musa told Sportinglens.blogspot.com.

“I want to improve on my previous records. As you know, we finished third position in the NPFL and second position in the AITEO Cup last season. But this time, as the league is divided into two, we want to come first in our group and become the league champions in the league playoff by the grace of God.

"The fans should be expecting a very committed and focused Musa. I am using this medium to say that I am ready to work with everybody; players, my technical crew members as well as the management. It is going to be a team work and I am pleading for support and prayer from everybody.
“This is a new beginning, if I have offended anybody, they should forgive me and if anybody wronged me, I have forgiven the person. We have to work together to achieve success in the 2018/2019 season."
