Wikki Tourists shift focus to Pillars game

Wikki Tourists chairman Hon. Isa Matori has urged the players and technical crew of the team to put behind them the goalless draw against Heartland FC of Owerri in the match day two game at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi on Wednesday.

Matori advised them to accept the result as professional as he encouraged them to take inspiration in their last weekend's away win over El-Kanemi Warriors in Katsina.

"We should be grateful to God that we did not completely lose the points and we were not disgraced as you guys played very well to the admiration of the spectators," Matori said.

The Chairman, therefore, enjoyed them to appreciate God for the result and focus on their next away match against Kano Pillars.

He expressed confidence that his side will tear and destroy Pillars at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano on Sunday considering their fitness and technical abilities.

Matori furthered commended the match officials for their magnanimity and courage for fair officiating that satisfied the spectators at the stadium and urged them to continue.

He also congratulated the LMC for successful take off of the league as expected.
