MFM shock Nasarawa Utd









 Debutants Mountain of Fire Ministry (MFM) Football Club was on fire on Sunday when they shocked Nasarawa United 2-1 away at the Apar Aku Stadium, Makurdi during one of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) matches.
The newly promoted side recorded their first ever premier league victory when they light-up arena with two goals at the interval against the CAF Confederation Cup campaigners.
The Baptism of fire started in the 18th minute when Chukuma Emmanuel set-up Musa Newman to rifle home from close quarters.
The visitors from Lagos went on rampage again when Chukwuka Emmanuel who eventually adjudged the Most valuable Player (MVP) completed his heroic with a goal to his name in the 33rd minute.
The hosts were punished for their missed opportunity having misfired in front of goal
Solid Miners got a consolation in the 80th minute through Ifeanyi Nweke but it was too late for the Lafia-based outfit.
