Leicester
City have rejected a £12million bid from Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr for Super Eagles striker Ahmed Musa.
Leicester brought in Musa for £16.6m in 2016, but the Nigerian forward has failed to make an impact in his time at the King Power Stadium.
Just two
goals have been scored in 21 Premier League appearances, and the 25-year-old
spent the second half of the last campaign on loan at CSKA Moscow.
An
impressive World Cup campaign for the Super Eagles has successfully led to
interest in Musa's signature but according to Sky Sports News, Leicester are
not prepared to sell the attacker on the cheap.
The report
claims that Al Nasr have offered £12m for the player, but the East Midlands
outfit have informed the Saudi Arabian side that they wish to receive close to
what they paid for Musa two years ago.
