Kwara United hero Stephen Jude has pledged to continue scoring goals and help his team achieve its objectives this season, Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports.
Jude netted
hat-trick and earned two assists as Michael Ohanu, got a brace in his side’s
5-0 bashing of struggling Adamawa United in the matchday 17 encounter at the
Ilorin Township Stadium on Sunday. Scored
In a
post-match reaction after the encounter, Jude expressed happiness at scoring
the first hat-trick of his career, which was also the first of the ongoing
Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.
The
offensive midfielder rated Kwara United as a team with young and talented
players that are capable of ending the season on a high.
“I am so
excited scoring the first hat-trick of the season and also first in my
professional career. We are lucky to converting most of the chances created. My
target this season wasn’t primarily in pursuit of Highest Goal Scorer award,
but to get a double digit score that will assist our general cause this
season,” Jude said.
