Maikaba advices Abia Warriors to adopt Enyimba Stadium as home ground

Plateau United technical adviser Abdu Maikaba has advised the management of Abia Warriors to adopt Enyimba International Stadium in Aba as their home ground for effective quality football, Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports.  

Maikaba stated this after leading his side to a 1-1 draw against Abia Warriors in the matchday 11 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) played at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Sunday.

Maikaba admitted that Abia Warriors are good side but he observed that the Umuahia stadium pitch is affecting their game and denying them the opportunity to get a deserved result at home.

"They are very good side and very mobile side. I always said it anytime I come here to play Abia Warriors, they always present a good team but the pitch is not helping them. For me, I will suggest if they can go back to Enyimba Stadium to be playing their home game, they will have good game there," Maikaba said.
