New players will get chance to play, Says Rohr

By Taofeek Babalola

Coach Gernot Rohr has said that all of his players will get minutes to play as he explain Super Eagles team selection ahead of this weekend’s matches against Seychelles and Egypt in Asaba, Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports.

The German coach has handed new invitation to four new players ahead of the final Group E Africa Cup of Nation’s qualifier against Seychelles and friendly game against Egypt.

The new players include FC Midtjyland of Denmark striker Paul Onuachu and three local players Ikouwem Udo, Valentine Ozornwafor and Ndifreke Effiong.

In a chat with Sportinglens.blogspot.com, Rohr said the two games will afford him the opportunity to see every player.

“We will have possibility to see everybody, because we have two games to play; even we have four games because the U23 team are playing qualifier (against Libya) at the same time. We will see them in Asaba the day before our game. We will have the opportunity to see a lot of players. It will be very interesting to see not in the two games but at least in one game for the new players,” Rohr said to Sportinglens.blogspot.com.
