2020/2021 season: Nasarawa United retains Imenger, Ohanachom, 33 others

The management of Nasarawa United Football Club has retained 35 players out of 61 that featured for the club last term ahead of the 2020/2021 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.

The club's chairman Barr. Isaac Danladi revealed this at the end of the management meeting held on Wednesday morning in Lafia.

According to a release made available to Sportinglens.blogspot.com, through the club's Media Officer, Eche Amos, the retained players include experienced strikers, Barnabas Imenger Junior and Ohanachom Chinedu.



Others are Danlami Umar, Galadima Mohammed, Ibrahim Matthew, Abubakar Abdullahi Sadiq, Ebuka Amaekwe, Victor Okoro, Ismaila Mayaki, Franklin Tebo, Manga Mohammed, Chidi

Solomon, Dauda Maigishiri, Daddy Morris and Abdullahi Bello. 

The list also include Ruben Goma, Mohammed Abdullahi, Ikenna Ofor, Lawal Abubakar, Kattoh Haggai, Anas Yusuf, Ahmed Mohammed Sabo, Fidelis Junior, Mohammed Shammasu, Abdullaziz Umar, Emmanuel Makama, Attahiru Zangina, Ismaila Mohammed, Mohammed Sarki Benteke, Moyi Mohammed Hassan, David Ehiaghe Shekwalagaza, Ogba Jacob Kuki, Musa Zamfara, Gindau Aliyu Bello and Nnda Yabo.



Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports that the club's management has fixed Wednesday, September 16th as resumption date for its players and officials.

The chairman said the resumption became imperative to adequately prepare the team for the next football season.

Danladi revealed that the Nasarawa State Government, under the leadership of Governor Abdullahi Sule, has procured a multi-million naira edifice for the Club to serve as administrative office and camp house for the players and officials respectively.

He thanked His Excellency, Governor Abdullahi Sule and the Government of Nasarawa State for the great gesture in procuring the edifice.

Danladi added that the management has directed for the fumigation of the present camp house and stadium facilities in order to make it liveable in tandem with the COVID-19 protocols.
