Kano Pillars FC have appointed Abdulsalam
Abubakar Shandi and Hassan Abdullah as assistant coaches to the technical adviser
Muhammad Baba Ganaru. The club’s spokesman, Rilwani
Idris Malikawa, said the appointment was approved by the board at its emergency
meeting at the club’s secretariat on Wednesday.
Malikawa said the appointment of the two
coaches was as part of the management efforts to boost its technical department
in order to meet the challenges ahead.
He
said the coaches have been directed to work closely with Babaganaru, urging
them to dedicate themselves to the progress of the club in the ongoing Nigeria
Professional Football League.
The new assistant coaches joined the team this
morning at its training ground Kano Pillars Stadium, Sabon Gari Quarters, Kano.
