Nasarawa United on Thursday unveiled 17 newly acquired players ahead of the 2025/26 football season, Sportinglens.blospot.com reports.
The club's
chairman, Solomon Babanjah and Team Manager, Adamu Musa Galle introduced the
new players to the fans at the event that took place the Lafia City Stadium
yesterday.
The new
players include Ikemdinachi Imo Prince (left back) from Enyimba FC of Aba;
Lawal Akanni (winger) from Kwara United FC of Ilorin; Gozie Umeh (Defensive
Midfielder) from Enyimba FC; Olughu Onu Chinemerem (Goalkeeper) from Ikorodu
City FC of Lagos; Moses Botia Tsetuan (Central Defender) from Lobi Stars FC of
Makurdi.
Others are
Ovunda Darlintin (Goalkeeper) from Akwa United of Uyo; Olawale Olajide (Central
Midfielder) from Dragons FC of Benin Republic; Vincent Akpikpi (Attacking
Midfielder) from Bendel Insurance of Benin City; Victor Ekioke (Centre Back)
and Paul Itim (Centre forward) both from Lobi Stars FC.
Jofrank
Instifanus (Winger) from Camp Pro FC of Abuja; Oladeji Joshua (Goalkeeper) from
Crown FC of Ogbomosho; Sunusi Alhaji Audu (Centre forward) from Mighty Jets of
Jos; Ojo Johnson (Centre back) from City FC of Abuja; Eshimutu Gomina (Winger)
from Kano Pillars; Nnoli Samuel (Centre Back) from Global Peace Academy of Jos
and Ogodo Samuel (winger) from Adamawa United FC were also unveiled.
Some of the
unveiled players, donning the Solid Miners' jerseys, while speaking to the
media, expressed their excitement and eagerness to contribute to the success of
the Club.
Speaking
after the unveiling, one of the players goalkeeper, Ovunda expressed his
excitement and eagerness to contribute to the success of the Club.
