22 coaches applied for Prime job

No fewer than twenty two coaches have applied for the vacant posts of chief coach and assistant coach of Nigeria National League (NNL) side Prime Football Club of Oshogbo as at Friday morning.

The Secretary of the Management Committee, Layi Adesiyan, who confirmed the development, said a decision would be made soon.

Five ex-internationals are among the applicants for the posts which became vacant at the end of the 2015/2016 NNL season.

Adesiyan said all the applicants will be interviewed on Monday December 19, 2016 at the Oshogbo Township Stadium from 9.am with a possibility of appointing a new coach afterward.

"We have so far received twenty two applicants for chief coach, assistant coach and some even applied to be the team scouting officers. It will also interest you that ex-internationals are among the applicants. The interview comes up on Monday to look for a competent coach which style will be useful for our promotion ambition. If everything goes well, we can have the whole process completed by next week and have a coach in place,” Adesiyan said.
