The club’s
medial officer,Idris Malikawa who disclosed this to Sportinglens.blogspot.com, said the exercise which was
conducted by medical Consultant Dr Sani Zakari was 100 percent successful.
Malikawa
said the medical examination was done in line with League Management Company
(LMC) rules which are mandatory before registering any player for the new
season, stressing that the exercise gave the club to know the medical situation
of its players.
“It’s very
interesting to note that our players are healthy enough to face the challenges
ahead of 2016/2017 season. Both new and old players participated in the
exercise and we are happy everything went well,” Malikawa disclosed to Sportinglens.blogspot.com.
It is
understood that Sai Masu Gida returned to training on Tuesday after coming back
home from the Gold Cup pre-season tournament in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
Malikwa also
informed that most of the new players recruited by the club have signed and
accepted the contractual agreement with the club.
