Ex-Eagles star Akuegbu meets Mighty Jets players

Former Nigerian International, Benedict Akuegbu has been introduced to Players and Officials of Mighty Jets FC of Jos immediately after the team's training session at their Commonwealth College of Commence playground in Faringada area of Jos.
Akuegbu, who was with his family in the United Kingdom when his appointment was made Public, is to serve as the Club's Technical Coordinator for the next four years.
The Club's Director of Administration, Alhaji Nasiru Rabiu, also used the opportunity to introduce other management members to the Players.

Mighty Jets will participate in two major competitions next year, the Nigeria National League (NNL) and the Federation Cup.

However, the management is absolutely satisfied with the work ethics of the new Technical Adviser of the team, Coach Usman Adams.

In a statement signed by the 2nd Vice Chairman of the Club, Architect Noel Aywila and released by the Club's Media Officer, Mbum Ferdinand, the club praised the work ethics in the ongoing trials for the recruitment of new Players.

The management of the club has promised to give the entire coaching department 100 percent assistance to succeed, advising mischief makers to steer clear of the Coaches and allow them to concentrate on their duties.

The screening exercise for the recruitment of players is ongoing and the TA has reduced the squad down to a manageable size.  The Jos-based outfit had about 80 Players in its payroll but the Coach might bring the number down to a maximum of 40 Players with prospects of improved contracts.
