Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
Coorman, who
was with the Gotv outfit from 2014-2015 secured their promotion from NNL to Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) left the club for Akwa United where he finished the season in style.
According to
a release made available to Sportinglens.blogspot.com by the club’s Media Manager, Babatunde
Ayoola, the Gotv outfit turned to Coorman for swift return to Nigeria
Professional Football League after weeks of several negotiations.
The 76-year
old gaffer, who signed a 2-year contract with the Gotv outfit has resumed with
the team on the 3rd of January and will commence training on the 4th.
“I am
delighted to be at the place where I am well loved. My task is to take the club
back to NPFL where it belongs. There is no room for laziness, I am here to do
my job. Furthermore, we have to work hard to replace departed players with
credible players," the former Kaduna United manager said.
