Gombe United hit Kaduna Wednesday for closed camping

Gombe United Football Club will travel to Kaduna State on Wednesday for a 10-day closed camping in preparation for the forthcoming Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.

The club’s General Manager, Salihu Ahmed said the club league campaign commence from the camp, urging both players and technical crew to work hard in order to have good representation in the league.

"Our league campaign commenced from the camp, hence all hands must be on deck, in order to take the league by storm," Ahmed said.

He expressed satisfaction on the changes brought so far into the team by the Technical Adviser, Manu Garba and his assistants and charged the players to be disciplined and focused.


Coach Garba applauded the state Governor, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo for approving their camping which will go a long way in giving the technical crew and players total concentration to prepare well for the league.
