NFF condoles with minister Dalung over wife's demise

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has expressed their deep regret over the death of wife of the Nigeria’s Youth and Sports Minister, Solomon Dalung, Mrs Briskila Dalung.

Mrs Dalung passed away on Sunday morning.  The passing of Dalung’s first wife was greeted with grief by the Nigeria Football Federation, who also mentioned it on their official Twitter handle.

In a condolence message, NFF said: “The NFF and the entire Nigeria Football family mourn with the Hon. Minister of Youth and Sports, Barrister Solomon Dalung on the passing of his dear wife this morning. May her gentle soul rest in peace.”

The Minister also shared some thoughts on his official facebook page: ” I AM BEREAVED:” For it is appointed for man to live thereafter comes death and judgment says the Holy Bible. While in the Quran, it states that it is appointed that every soul shall test death.”

”My heart is heavy, I cannot continue, I lost my first wife, Mrs Briskila this morning. May her soul and the souls of faithful departed rest in the bosom of the Lord, amen.  What a black Sunday.”
