Warriors young star Hussein Bata has said that he and his teammates are
adapting to the new tactical approach their technical adviser, Imama Amapakabo
has introduced to the team, Sportinglens.blogspot.com
The former Rangers International coach was appointed to replace former handler Ladan Bosso ahead of the 2017/2018 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
Bata, an
undergraduate student of the University of Maiduguri told Sportinglens.blogspot.com that the
new coach has introduced new style of play which is different from the former
coach.
"Honestly,
the team is doing well under the new coach. We are trying to cope with his new
style of play. The new style is totally different from what we were used to
under the former coach. He has told us that we have to hold the ball and
possess the ball very well. It is very interesting under Amapakabo. We are
really learning new things every day.
"Hopefully,
that the team we get into shape before the commencement of the league. We are
trying our best because the team is the combination of old and new players. The
coach is introducing new players into the team and we are getting used to
ourselves with the pre-season preparations,” Bata told Sportinglens.blogspot.com.
