Tornadoes defender Reuben Ogbonnaya has said to SportingLife that his side
would not get carried away despite their 2-0 win over Kwara United in the
Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) opener at Ilorin on Sunday,

overcame Harmony Boys 2-0 at the Kwara State Stadium to earn maximum points and
their first away win of the season.
The visitors
got an early lead through the Ghanaian import Eric Frimpong in the 12 minutes
to silent the home fans before Ibrahim Babawo sealed the victory with his 57th
minute goal.
Despite the
spectacular scoreline and 100 per cent record start, Ogbonnaya said he and his
colleagues will be more focused for their remaining matches.
“We are
grateful to God for the win. It was a fantastic game and we gave everything
into it. We were well prepared for it and we got reward for our efforts. We
will try to humble and work more in our remaining matches. It is first game of
the season and we still have more matches to be played. We are professional we
were not affected with what is going on in the team. We are here to play
football and win matches to achieve something great with this club,” the former
