United technical adviser Abdullahi Biffo has revealed to
Sportinglens.blogspot.com that there won't be a massive recruitment in his team
for next Season.
Biffo stated
this on his return to Nigeria from United State of America on Friday where he
went for short break.
The former
Niger Tornadoes manager said he has good squad and ready to build his team
around the players he used last season.
In a chat
with Sportinglens.blogspot.com, Biffo said that the Chanji Boys will only
strengthen the squad with three players which will include one goalkeeper,
central defender and attacking midfielder.
“We don’t
have problem with our team. We have combination of young and experienced
players. We did well last season and we want to continue from where we stopped.
So I am not expecting so many changes in the team. I will keep 97 percent of my
boys for next season. We may add two or three players because we still need
goalkeeper, central defender and attacking midfielder,” Biffo said to Sportinglens.blogspot.com.
The former
Abia Warriors manager said the team will resume camping for next season on
Monday.
“I am happy
with our performance last season in the league and AITEO Cup competitions. We
have been able to discover some areas where we have to make correction before
the league kick off. The players are already getting used to themselves and
what we need to do now is to correct little mistakes. We are resuming on Monday
and we will prepare well for the next season.”
