Former Abia
Warriors winger Sheriff Bashir has completed his switch to Katsina United ahead
of the new season, Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports.
Bashir signed a 3-year deal with the Chanji Boys and the contract will run until 2021.
The Oyo
State born winger put pen to papers on Thursday evening after he had agreed on personal teams and passed medical test.
Speaking to the
club's website www.fckatsinaunited.com after his unveiling, Sheriff described
his move to katsina United as a turning point.
He promised to contribute his quota to ensure that the Chanji Boys win trophy
this season.
"I
think this is another turning point in my career and I am happy to move to an
ambitious club like Katsina United.
"I will
contribute my quota to ensure that Katsina United win major trophy this season.
He assured
The former
Bayelsa United ace added that he will always appreciate the fans of Abia
Warriors for the love and care they showed him during his four years spell at
the club
"Yes, I
enjoyed my stay at Abia Warriors. The fans and the entire people of Umuahia are
wonderful and very passionate about the team.
"I will
always appreciate the love and care they showed me during my time at the club.
He concluded.
Sheriff
scored so many important goals and provided a lot of assist during his four
years stint at Abia Warriors.
