Tourists Football Club of Bauchi will engage Plateau United in friendly
encounter on Tuesday in Jos by 4pm, Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports
The Team Consultant, Abubakar Abubakar said the
match is one of the friendly matches line-up to keep the squad fit before the commencement of the
Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports that the team returned to Bauchi on Sunday from Kano where they played
some friendly matches after the Ahlan Cup pre-season tourney earlier for Saturday in Kano was postponed till December 8.
The Bauchi-based
outfit was also in Gombe State few weeks back to play some friendly
games.
Abubakar in
a chat with Sportinglens.blogspot.com said he is satisfied with the team’s preparation so
far.
“The team
will be in Jos on Tuesday for friendly game against Plateau United. We are
still assessing our players with series of quality friendly matches and they
are responding well. I believe at the end of the day we will be able to present
a formidable team for the coming season,” Abubakar said to Sportinglens.blogspot.com.
