Ndidi, Iheanacho pay final tribute to late club owner

Super Eagles duo of Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho as well as other Leicester City players left a final tribute for the late club owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha at King Power Stadium before heading to Cardiff earlier on Friday, Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports.

Ndidi and Iheanacho joined other club's faithful to mourn and pray for Srivaddhanaprabha who died in the helicopter crash last Saturday.

The Nigerian duo, who donned  the club’s track suit, laid a wreath outside the soccer club’s stadium on as a tribute to the Thai tycoon.

The Nigerians and their colleagues will go ahead to honour this weekend game with hope of getting good result against Cardiff.

The Premier League match in Cardiff will be the team's first since the incident after the midweek League Cup game against Southampton was postponed.

Vichai and four others were killed when his helicopter crashed next to the King Power stadium and then exploded after a Premier League match on Saturday.
