Wikki Tourists FC of Bauchi Technical Adviser, Aliyu Zubairu has described the team's activities
in Kano as fruitful, Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports.
Zubairu was
speaking against the backdrop of the friendly matches played in Kano last week.
The Nasaru Minallah-side
were in Kano for the Ahlan pre season competition which was unceremoniously
postponed to December 8.
The Wikki
gaffer said that some players earlier invited by the club were tried during the
friendlies, adding that they have given a good account of themselves.
Zubairu
added that what the club need now is a good striker and assured that he will
not rush in signing players until he get the best for the club.
The coach
revealed that the team will play a friendly match against Plateau United in Jos tomorrow which he said will be another litmus test for the players.
