Bolaji Adeyemo ends 10 years stay at Niger Tornadoes

Niger Tornadoes midfielder Bolaji Adeyemo has reportedly tendered a transfer request to the club's management after spending close to 10 years with the Minna-based outfit.

Adeyemo joined Ikon Allah from Kaduna United in 2008 and he will be fondly remembered for his selfless services for the club, notably among them was his effort in the league match against El-Kanemi Warriors in the 2016/2017 season in Lokoja where he scored the only goal of the encounter.

Speaking with the club media department, the Kaduna-born midfielder thanked the management and staff of the club for the care and support shown to him in the past 10 years.

"I want to thank the management of the club for their support over the years. The main reason why I decided to take this decision is to experience a new challenge with a new club and give room for the upcoming players," Adeyemo said.

Adeyemo was part of the Niger Tornadoes team that lost the 2017 Aiteo Cup final to Akwa United in Lagos.
