Plateau United
new signing Bernard Ovoke has promised to give his best to the club as he starts a new life at the Jos-based outfit, Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports.
Ovoke joined
Plateau United from Rivers United last week ahead of 2018/2019 Nigeria
Professional Football League (NPFL) season.
The prolific
striker said on his twitter handle @ovoke19 on Monday that he is delighted with a new
life at Plateau United while promising the club’s fans that they will see the
best of him in the coming season.
“(I) am
delighted as it's a new life and new beginning for me here with Plateau United.
I promise to do my best for the club and for Jos fans; you will see the best of
me,” Ovoke twitted.
Former
Bayelsa United striker has also prayed for an injury free season to enable him
deliver for the club.
“Just
arrived Jos for a new season....I ask for an injury free season lord!”
Ovoke is one
of the seven new players signed by Plateau United last week. Other players are Timothy Danladi, Mohammed
Rabiu, Gabriel Wassa, Ibrahim Babawo, Bashir Usman, Salefu Oche and Saeed
Ibrahim.
