Coach Fatai Osho has parted company with Rivers United as Chief Coach after two years.

Osho announced his resignation as the assistant coach of Nigeria Premier Football League champions on Monday through a statement on his official Facebook page.

"I resign my position as the Chief Coach of Rivers United FC.  Best wishes to the team," he said.

The tactician, who joined Rivers United in 2021, helped the Pride of Rivers to clinch the NPFL title last season as Stanly Eguma’s assistant. He also helped the Port-Harcourt based side reached the CAF Confederation Cup quarter finals this season.

He was the former manager of Enyimba and Remo Stars FC and Crown FC of Ogbomosho.
