Kano Pillars first choice goalkeeper Yusuf Mohammed has promised their teaming supporters to expect a new improved team when they face Sunshine Stars of Akure in the week 34 of the Nigeria Professional football League (NPFL) game at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano on Sunday.

Sai Masu Gida suffered a 4-0 defeat to 3SC in the week 33 at the Lekan salami Stadium, Adamasingba Ibadan on Sunday.

The Dream team VI savehands said he and his teammates have learnt from their mistakes and ready to correct it as he hopes for a resounding victory over Sunshine Stars on Sunday.

“It is going to be a different game against Sunshine Stars on Sunday and I pray to God to give us victory in the game. We made lots of mistakes in the game against 3SC in our last game in Ibadan. We have learnt a lot from it and I hope we will improve on it. We didn’t play our normal game in Ibadan that was why we lost in that way. We have to play better to get right result. I know Sunshine Stars will come for a fight because they lost points at home in their last game too but I am confident that we will get a good result in the match,” Mohammed told Sportinglens.blogspot.com.

He added: “Our fans deserve the best and we are ready to deliver. We have prepared well for this game and we can’t afford to drop any point again at this stage. This is a game and you have to accept anything that happened and learn from it and move forward. We have put what happened in Ibadan behind us and our focus is now Sunday’s match against Sunshine Stars.”
