Sportinglens.blogspot.com can report that Nasarawa United have signed two strikers, Sibi Gwar and Edoh
Ocheme ahead of the second Stanza of the Nigeria Professional Football League
(NPFL).
Gwar joined
the Solid Miners from Oratory Youth FC of Malta while Ocheme completed his move
from Rangers International of Enugu.
The club’s
media officer, Musa Elayo said the duo has already agreed terms with the club
and they have started training with the rest of the squad.
Gwar played
for Enyimba FC, Giwa FC, Lobi Stars and Niger Tornadoes before he moved to
Malta while Ocheme was former Giwa FC of Jos.
Elayo also
disclosed that the players that would be dropped would be made known to the
public very soon.
“The essence
of bringing in these top players is to stabilize our attack for the second
stanza of the league. We have discovered that attack is our major problem and
we want to do something very urgent to correct that. Gwar and Ocheme have
started training with the team that we brought them to stabilize the attack for
the second stanza. The management are yet to discuss on those players that
would be dropped but as soon as we conclude on that we will inform the general
public,” Musa told Sportinglens.blogspot.com.
