Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed the arrival of 12 players in the Super
Eagles camp in Corsica ahead of Friday friendly encounter against senior team of
Corsica. Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports that the team is
camped at the Best Western Hotel, Ajaccio Amiraute.
The
three–time African champions will take on the Corsica senior team at the Stade
Francois Coty in Ajaccio starting from 8p.m. on Friday, May 26, and then travel
to Paris for the game against the Hawks of Togo.
The NFF revealed that eight foreign-based and four
home-based players made their way to the camp on Tuesday.
Among the early
foreign-based players are five defenders which include Elderson Echiejile of Sporting
Gijon of Spain, William Ekong (KAA Gent, Belgium), Tyronne Ebuehi (ADO Den
Haag, Netherlands), Uche Agbo (CF Granada, Spain) and Chidozie Awaziem (FC
Porto, Portugal).
Others are one striker, Henry Onyekuru (KAS Eupen, Belgium), one midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo
(CD Feirense Portugal) and one goalkeeper, Dele Alampasu (Cesarense FC,
Portugal).
The
home-based players include Ikechukwu Ezenwa (FC IfeanyiUbah), Stephen Odey
(MFM FC), Sikiru Olatubosun and Akwa United midfielder, Alhassan Ibrahim.
